The Man Behind the Camera
Hello and welcome to my about me page! My name is Nick Grace and I'm a content creator out of the Boston/Northshore area.
I first picked up photography the summer going into my senior year of high school and have been in love with it since. I started out just taking photos of nature, my friends, and of course myself (got to make sure the Insta feed was looking good). But now, it has turned into more than I could have ever imagined.
I've slowly upgraded all my gear and gained more experience shooting everything from sports to portraits to events and weddings. While I still think I have a lot to learn, I have come along way since I picked up my first camera.
I don't like to consider myself an *insert type of photography here* photographer. I feel like that limits the opportunities for me to meet different people and experience the world fully. I have experience in almost all types of photography and I've enjoyed all of them. While most of my career choices have been towards being a sports photographer I'm open to all types of work and enjoy the challenge of shooting something different.
Through photography, I've been able to work with and meet so many amazing people. I've had the opportunity to follow inspirational and heartbreaking stories, shoot concerts, professional and collegiate sports games, and most importantly to me capture people's happiest (and sometimes even saddest) moments and emotions in a single photo.
Photography has given me the opportunity to complete internships with Duke University Athletics and Merrimack College Athletics in addition to doing work for the Boston Cannons, the Premier lacrosse league and work as a student photographer during my four years of college at Endicott College #GoGulls.
In my opinion, there is no better feeling than watching someone's face light up when they see one of my photos and the smile that comes across their face. It's because of that that I keep doing what I do, and why my favorite thing to take photos of is people, no matter the occasion.
Stay up to date with my most current work by following me on all social media or by checking out my most recent blog on the home page!
Thank you for reading a little bit of my story, I look forward to hearing/capturing yours.
